Data Network Solution | LPN Port Rules

Business Rules For Porting

When porting numbers from Data Network Solutions.

Port Order Interval

The interval does not begin until DNS has received a clean service request from the LEC.
If the service request is not received by 3:00 PM local time, the due date is moved out by one business day.

Required Forms

All port orders must be accompanied by a valid letter of authorization matching the customer records.
All documents must be sent via mail to LNP@dnetworksolution.com

  • Local Service Request Form
  • End User Information Form
  • Number Portability Form

LSRs must reflect the logo/name of the LEC submitting the port out request. if necessary.
Port times are between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm EST.
Port cancellation must be at least 48 hours prior to the assigned port date.
If the port can be canceled within 48 hours a cancellation fee will be charged.

Port Interval after receipt of a clean LSR

  • 1 DID  1 Business Days
  • 2 to 25 DIDs  5 Business Days
  • 26 to 50 DIDs 10 Business Days
  • 51 to 100 DIDs 15 Business Days
  • 100+ DIDs Special Project 30 Business Days Minimum
